great line from Snow Patrol

In their song, "chasing cars", Snow Patrol have a great line which reads, "I need your grace, to remind me, of my own", I am unsure of their spirituality, or even if they have a relationship with God, but this line has struck me hard recently. We all need Gods grace, and isn't it a great thing that we aren't God, as we would struggle to show that level of Grace, but yet, we still need to acknowledge the amount of grace that we need from God, to remind us, of how much we need to show others. So when othersspeak out of turn, hurt us badly, or make comments that are unnecesary, unjust, and unhelpful, do we need to think about the Grace that God shows us when we do exactly that to him.

snow patrol is not a christian band... you can follow the link to read where the leader of the band says that organized religion terrifies him and how he loved The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.

i loved chasing cars before i read this blog. i sang it to my FATHER!! i certainly know that it is absolutely true that we need HIS grace... and oh how HE loves us!!! and we so don't deserve it!! and there is nothing we could ever do to deserve it.
however, for me personally, i can't listen to music that doesn't directly glorify GOD. music is a portal in which the enemy uses to get to my heart, and i refuse to give him leeway. and being that you're a youth leader i thought it best to inform you that they weren't a christian band in case you may be recommending them to youth who may be in my shoes and only want/need to listen to real christian music.

yet isn't it so neat how we can find HIM where ever we look. HE is all over and throughout HIS creation. HE is abundant. to the absolute maximum.

Yea, but it's like Alexander the Great. He was glorifying God by fulfilling his prophecy even if he was just seeking glory for himself. What's sad is this song DOES glorify God or at least that song does, but Snow Patrol doesn't even realize that they glorify him. It's like people who are atheists don't realize the mere fact that they breathe glorifies God.
